​ただ過ぎに過ぐるもの

『ただ過ぎに過ぐるもの』は、nici個展 golden time"今とても素晴らしい時" にて展示・発表した、糸と光を用いて空間内に漂う実態のない彫刻を可視化させるインスタレーション作品である。この展示では自然光の入る環境で開催時間を日没から日の出までの時間に設定し、自然光の移り変わりの中で作品と環境との関係性を問うことを試みた。作品は糸・水晶玉・ライト・モーターのみで構成される。天井から吊り下げられた複数の糸に重りをつけ高速で回転させ螺旋形の立体的残像を作り出す。その立体的残像に外部からスリット状の光を照射することで糸の描く軌跡が切り取られ空間内に無数の光の輪が浮かび上がる。光の輪は、会場に差し込む自然光の移り変わりとともに真夜中になるにつれ現れ、日が昇ると消えていき、次第に糸が描く彫刻が姿を見せる。人々が帰路に就き、静けさが訪れた原宿に漂う空気の中で作品は動き続けている。

“tada sugini suguru mono” is an installation using strings and light to visualise a sculpture that does not exist in the space.

By irradiating a spotlight to the spiral three-dimensional afterimage that appears by rotating the suspended string at high speed, the string captures the light and emerges up the illuminating sculptures in the space.

By changing the irradiation angle and width of the light, the shape of the light captured on the string can be changed freely.
