ことに人に知られぬもの

​

『ことに人に知られぬもの』は、茶室内で水晶玉が密やかに漂い続けているインスタレーション作品である。

吊り下げられたワイヤーを高速で回転させることで、ワイヤーに括り付けた水晶玉が地面すれすれの所を海に浮かぶブイのように浮遊する。

光の当て方によってワイヤーは姿を消し、茶室内に水晶玉だけが漂っているように見える。

茶室内に浮かび続ける水晶玉と空気抵抗によって生まれるワイヤーの小さな回転音は、空間に宿る生命のようにも捉えることができる。

 “kotoni hitoni shirarenumono” means the things that is slipped one’s mind. It is an installation in which crystal balls are secretly drifting in the tea room.

By rotating the suspended wire at a high speed, the crystal ball tied to the wire floats low on the the floor level like a buoy floating in the sea.

The wire disappears depending on how the light is shedded, and it looks like only a crystal ball drifts in the tea room.

The crystal ball that keeps floating in the tea room and the small rotational noise of the wire generated by air resistance reminds somehow a existence of live in the space.
